The Allegheny Front radio program This is one of the most important shows on air today, and it's the place that gave us our start. We appear monthly with garden tips as "The Organic Gardeners." Producer Kathy Knaur is one of the best in the business and continues to drive the show to new heights. Organic Gardening Magazine Jess grew up reading Organic Gardening magazine and she's now a frequent contributor. Watch for her next article on Creating an Evening Garden in an upcoming issue. Hobby Farm Home Magazine Jess loves working for this magazine that targets folks who love to farm in their spare time. Her article Garden Grit appears in every issue: it features plenty of easy tips and techniques to make your garden shine. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Doug writes a garden column that appears periodically on Saturdays. Pittsburgh Today Live on KDKA-TV Watch Doug live every Thursday morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Doug loves working with the team at the show, from the crew, to the producer and of course the anchors. It's a wonderfully creative group. WQED's OnQ Program Doug appears periodically on the show doing longer taped segments for the show and has worked on the show since its inception. "OnQ has been so good to me"Oster says, "they are a great little family and have allowed me inside their circle. I love working there." Pittsburgh Magazine Editorial Director Julie Talerico, along with Vice President of Publishing/Editor-in-Chief Betsy Benson, has made this an incredible magazine filled with fascinating articles. Doug writes a column twice a year in their spring and fall Home and Garden editions. "I feel blessed to work for Julie Talerico-she makes me a better writer," Doug says. "I feel a deep responsibility when I write for Pittsburgh Magazine to make the work special." The Heirloom Gardener Magazine Jere Gettle is an incredible young man. He runs Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and a magazine purely for gardeners who love heirlooms (like Doug and Jess). It's really a fun magazine that's filled with great articles. Table Magazine is a wonderful new food magazine out of Pittsburgh. Christina French has created something special here and Doug enjoys writing for her.
